As of January 1, 2003, a change to the law # 124/2002 of Coll., law on payments, came into effect which affects the business practices of Citibank in terms of processing domestic and foreign payments.
The law on payments, in addition to other, amended the obligatory period for processing payment transactions. In order to duly fulfill all its legal obligations, Citibank below lists the actual obligatory deadlines that must be met by the client, in order for Citibank to accept the the payment for processing on the same business day.
All the deadlines apply, if there is not a written agreement between Citibank and the client stating otherwise
